This book is encased in cardboard
slipcase that has a few slight indentations (see photos
below). Published by Tokyo IPC Inter Press Corporation,
1990.
Condition: except for the few indentations
of the slipcase, this book is in very good condition.
Hiromi Tsuchida (1939 -):
Born in 1939 in Fukui Prefecture, Tsuchida earned
an engineering degree from Fukui University in
1963 and then enrolled in the Tokyo College of
Photography, from which he graduated in 1966. He
began his career as a publicity photographer for
a cosmetics company and by 1971 had turned freelance.
Much of the work he produced in the 1970’s
focuses on traditional Japanese life and customs
documented during his travels throughout the country.
From the late 1970s and into the 1980s Tsuchida
owrked on his projects concerning life in Hiroshima
after the A-bombing of the city. |
