Description: Okuda studied under
the father of Japanese pictorialism, Suizan
Kurokawa, and his style was heavily influenced
by his teacher.
Print has Okuda's red hanko stamp with the incription: Yamato Hakkei: Hasedera no botan (Eight famous views of Yamato; Hase Temple & botan flower). This print comes from an archive of prints and negatives by Okuda that were taken during the 1920s and early 1930s.
Condition:
Printed on a glossy gelatin silver paper with a white border. The condition is very good, but there is some slight paling in the some of the highlights.
